Isn't it still November?

Me, writing the day away.
Me, writing the day away.

It’s been a while since I’ve hopped on to blog, but mentally I’m still preparing for Thanksgiving dinner. Time simply got away from me, and so much has happened and is happening, I thought I’d try to catch you all up, despite me not being anywhere near caught up.

A Thousand Melodies is now available not only on Amazon, but most book retailers. If you type in the book title and my name in your favorite search engine, all your options will pop up. However, my favorite place to order, is through BookShop.org. BookShop’s primary purpose is to help support and promote local and independent bookstores and authors. If you have a favorite store, you can use their search bar to see if they are one of the thousands of bookstores that are currently working with the website. My favorite independent bookstore happens to be owned by my friend Shane, but his store is in Washington. Now I can order the books he carries, as well as any other book I want to add to my collection. Plus, Indie authors such as I get a fair commission. So many birds, so many stones. Chek out Shane’s store today! https://bookshop.org/shop/sirlonebuckscomics.com

If you are interested in a copy of These Words, my first book, you might want to order a copy ASAP as the current format will be unpublished shortly. There are several reasons for this, the main reason being that it will be issued with a new ISBN outside of KDP. This means that by April, These Words will also be available for purchase at most online book retailers. This is incredibly exciting, and important because I’m hoping that by August of this year you might be able to find print copies of my books in libraries and bookstores. All the stars need to align for this to happen, so fingers crossed!

Now this brings me to some even more exciting news. My third book, “Everything but a Novel: A Collection of Fiction,” is set to be released in August. This book will have short stories, flash fiction, and poetry. I’m still writing, but I am on track with where I need to be.

And if that wasn’t enough to keep me busy, I’m also working on my fourth book, which I will be releasing by the second week of January. I’m keeping the details of that book on the down low for a bit. I need to keep you wondering.
